Movie Making

In our past few IT classes my class and I have all created our own movie. My movie was based on child slavery! We made the movie by adding photos and adding captions to each slide. When we were finished we also got to add a song of our choice which we felt suited our movie.

Gach Ceadaoin chaith me an lá ag obair le paisti. Rinne mé damhsa agus bhí mé ag sugradh leis an paisti in Playzone.

Aaron an t-anim a bhí an duine a bhí me ag obair in eineacht liom. D'oibrigh sé mar runaí. Fuair me siob ó mo mham sa charr gach maidin. 

Carlingford!

On the 16th of September all three classes of TY 2013 headed off to Carlingford. I was so excited for the trip and i was all packed and ready to go two days before!. When we reached the adventure centre we wear all so excited to get our rooms and to have some fun! There was 12 of us in our room, which was a great laugh and we all stayed up chatting all night about our embarrassing moments and we all just had a good time!

 When we first arrived we went straight out and did our first activity which was a team bonding thing, the aim of each task was to complete the task within a certain time limit and if you completed the challenge you would receive jems, and the team and the end of the day with the most jems would win! After our first activity we went back to the centre and we had lunch which was so nice! After lunch we had to walk up this big mountain which had us all complaining the whole time we were walking up it, but it was sure worth it when we reached the top and we found out what our next activity was... we were going to be doing Lazor Tag. We were all so excited when we were given army outfits which really added to excitement as we were all dressed up and ready to go! We were split into separate teams Blue vs Red. I was on the blue team. We were all given a gun and we all rushed around the site hiding in tunnels, and long grass trying to avoid getting shot by the other teams lazor! I really enjoyed this, and it was definitely the highlight of my trip!

We then went home after Lazor Tag and all got into our pyjamas and went to our rooms, we stayed up most of the night laughing and chatting away, but we eventually fell asleep as we had to be up early the next morning as we were off canoeing, and we also were going zorbing! Although it was so cold the next morning i did push myself into getting into my wetsuit and heading out onto the lake and i ended up having a ball! Carlingford has definitely been a memorable trip and i had such a great time!

Junk Kouture!

This week has been very busy, im really enjoying TY so far. I got my results on Wednesday and i was delighted with my results, i was crying with happiness! Today was our last school day before Carlingford, everyone is so excited and i hope i have a great time! What im most excited for would have to be Junk Kouture this is when you create an outfit out of recycled materials! My group and I have a great design and i cannot wait to create it!

TY Fun!

On Wednesday we had a workshop and we had 3 different work shops, in our first one we talked about our most embarrassing memories which was quite funny! In our second workshop we learned some techniques on how to massage people which was also really good! For our last workshop that day we were with Denise who runs Positive Party's! we danced and singed and we all had a great laugh! Here's a song that i find positive, and listen to when im in a bad mood!

Today is my first day writing a post for my blog which we were asked to create on our first day of TY, and to record our progress throughout the year. Hopefully my blog will go well, and I will have lots of posts during the busy year.
